Production Technology of FRP Storage Tank

Advantages of jet molding:

The production efficiency is 4-8 times higher than that of hand paste.
Product integrity, no joint, high interlaminar shear strength, high resin content, corrosion resistance, leakage resistance.
It can reduce the consumption of flange, cutting cloth and residual glue.
Product size, shape is not limited.
The injection function makes the catalyst and resin mixed evenly in the nozzle under hydraulic pressure before injection, so there is no compressed air leakage and less air pollution during injection.

Production preparation:
Material preparation: the raw materials are mainly resin and untwisted glass fiber yarn.
Mold preparation: preparation includes cleaning, assembly and coating release agent.
Injection molding equipment: injection molding machine pressure tank type, pump type and integrated type of three:

The pump type glue injection molding machine is to transport the resin initiator and accelerator from the pump to the static mixer, and then spray out by the spray gun after full mixing, which is called the mixed type in the gun. Its components are pneumatic control system, resin pump, auxiliary pump, mixer, spray gun, fiber cutting ejector and so on. The resin pump and the auxiliary pump are rigidly connected by the rocker arm, and the position of the auxiliary pump on the rocker arm can be adjusted to ensure the proportion of ingredients. Under the action of the air compressor, the resin and the auxiliary agent are mixed evenly in the mixer, the droplets are formed by the spray gun, and the cut fiber is continuously sprayed to the surface of the die. This sprayer has only one glue spray gun, simple structure, light weight, less waste of initiator, but because of the mixing in the system, it should be cleaned immediately after completion to prevent jet clogging.
The pressure tank type glue sprayer is to install the resin glue liquid in the pressure tank separately, and make the glue liquid into the spray gun continuously by the gas pressure entering the tank. It is composed of two resin tanks, pipes, valves, spray gun, fiber cutting ejector, trolley and support. When working, the compressed air source is connected, so that the compressed air enters the resin tank, glass fiber cutter and spray gun through the air-water separator, so that the resin and glass fiber are continuously ejected from the spray gun, the resin is atomized, the glass fiber is dispersed, and the mixture is mixed evenly and then sunk to the mold. This sprayer is resin mixed outside the spray gun, so it is not easy to plug the nozzle.
The integrated injection molding machine combines the advantages of the above two molding machines to further expand the advantages of the equipment, using a temperature-controlled resin, catalyst mixing container, simple operation mixing uniform. The mixed resin and curing agent are sucked out by the pump from the corresponding container, the glass fiber is cut by the glass fiber cutter and sprayed continuously by the ejector, the resin and curing agent are atomized, the glass fiber is dispersed and mixed evenly and then sunk on the mold.
